Co-op SURVIVAL CLASS

We love seeing the excitement build in youth as they develop self confidence through fun, hard work and experience, becoming self reliant and comfortable within nature.

In our one day survival course youth will learn basics on how to stay alive in the woods. From ancient to modern techniques that focus on Water, Shelter, Fire and Food.

Disclaimer

Working outdoors and developing these skills does come with inherent risk. We do take safety seriously but don’t believe in bubble wrapping life. With instruction and supervision students will use tools such as knives and saws . They will be exposed to getting dirty, small bruises, splinters and cuts. Classes will be in the elements and will general activities include projects, light hiking, walking on uneven ground, making fire Etc.
